Tintura / Jovanov, with its registered office at ul. Rajko Zinzifov 46, Skopje 1000, North Macedonia (hereinafter: „we”, „us” or „Tintura”) operates the website https://tintura.jovanov.mk.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what your rights are. By using our website, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1. What data do we collect?
1.1 Data you provide to us directly
When you order products, send a question via the contact form, or communicate with us by email or phone, we may collect the following data: name and surname, shipping address, email, phone number, and order details (products, quantities, payment method).
1.2 Data collected automatically
When visiting our website, the following may be automatically collected: IP address, browser type and operating system, pages you visit and duration of visit, access source (link, search engine, social network) and cookie data (more details in our Cookie Policy).
1.3 Payment details
Purchases through our website can be made by cash on delivery (cash on delivery), direct payment to a bank account or online payment with a payment card. Online payments are processed through the payment system of Halk Banka AD Skopje. We do not collect, view or store your payment card data — the entire transaction takes place on the bank's secure payment page, in accordance with PCI DSS security standards.
2. Why do we collect your data?
We use your personal data for: processing and delivering orders, communicating regarding your orders, questions or requests, improving our website and user experience, statistical analysis of traffic (via Google Analytics, with anonymized data) and fulfilling legal obligations (tax and accounting records).
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on: contractual obligation — to process and deliver orders you have placed, legitimate interest — to improve our service, site security and prevent abuse, consent — for statistical and marketing cookies (which you can refuse or withdraw) and legal obligation — to store invoices and tax documentation in accordance with Macedonian legislation.
4. Sharing data with third parties
We may share your personal data with: courier services — for delivery of orders (name, address, phone), payment processor — Halk Banka AD Skopje for processing online card payments (card data is processed exclusively by the bank), hosting and infrastructure service providers — Hetzner (server hosting) and Cloudflare (security and CDN), analytics services — Google Analytics (anonymized traffic data) and government authorities — only when legally required.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. International data transfer
Some of our service providers may process data outside of North Macedonia: Hetzner — servers located in Germany (EU), Cloudflare — a global network based in the US, and Google (Analytics, Fonts) — based in the US.
Data transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations, including standard contractual clauses and other appropriate safeguards.
6. How long do we keep the data?
Order and invoice data — 10 years (legal obligation for tax records). Communication data (email, contact form) — up to 2 years after the end of the communication or while the business relationship exists. Automatically collected data (analytics) — up to 26 months (standard Google Analytics period). Cookies — according to the term specified for each individual cookie (see Cookie Policy).
7. Your rights
In accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia and, for visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
Access — to request information about what personal data we process about you and to receive a copy of it.
Correction — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Delete — request the erasure of your personal data („right to be forgotten”), except where processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.
Restriction of processing — request a temporary suspension of the processing of your data.
Portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format and to request its transmission to another controller.
Objection — to object to the processing of your data based on legitimate interest.
Withdrawal of consent — withdraw the consent given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

If you believe that your rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia (https://dzlp.mk).
8. Data security
To protect your personal data, we use: SSL/TLS encryption of all communication between your browser and our server, a secure server with regular security updates and monitoring, Cloudflare protection against DDoS attacks and malicious traffic, limited access to personal data — only for authorized persons, and regular data backups.
9. Minors
Our website and products are not intended for persons under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under the age of 16 without the consent of a parent/guardian, we will delete it as soon as possible.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. In the event of any changes, the updated document will be posted on this page with a new date of last update. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email or by posting a notice on the website.
