These Terms and Conditions govern the terms and conditions for using the website https://tintura.jovanov.mk and purchasing products through it. The website is operated by Tintura / Jovanov, with registered office at ul. Rajko Zhinzifov 46, Skopje 1000, North Macedonia (hereinafter: „we”, „us”, „Tintura”).
By accessing and using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. General provisions
Tintura is a specialty store for professional paints, primers, tools and painting equipment. Our range includes products from the Crown Paints, Sandtex and Prodec Advance brands, as well as associated application equipment.
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the website after the changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the new terms.
2. Products and prices
All products displayed on the website are available while supplies last. We strive to ensure that descriptions, images and prices are accurate, but we do not guarantee complete accuracy at all times.
Important note about colors: Due to possible differences in the display of colors on different screens and monitors, some of our products (especially paints and primers) are not available for online ordering. For these products, the website serves as a catalog — we invite you to visit our physical store to make the right shade selection.
Products available for online purchase have a price and an "Add to Cart" button displayed. Products without a price or with a "Read More" button are only available in our store or by prior order through contact.
Prices are shown in Macedonian Denars (MKD) and include VAT. Shipping costs are calculated separately at the time of order completion. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice, but changes will not affect already confirmed orders.
3. Orders
By submitting an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. The order is considered accepted upon our confirmation sent to your email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if: the product is out of stock or has been withdrawn from sale, there is an error in the price or description of the product, we cannot verify the delivery address, or there is a reasonable suspicion of abuse.
When ordering, you guarantee that you are an adult (over 18 years old) and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. Payment
Available payment methods:
Cash on delivery (cash on delivery) — you pay the amount to the courier upon receipt of the shipment.
Direct payment to bank account — after receiving a pro forma invoice to your email, the shipment is sent after recorded payment.
Online payment with a payment card — payment is made through the secure payment system of Halk Bank AD Skopje. Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted. When paying online, your card details are entered directly on the bank's secure page — Tintura does not have access to these details. The transaction is protected by 3D Secure authentication.
Payment in store — for products picked up in person, you can pay in cash or by card at our POS terminal.
5. Delivery
Delivery is carried out on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia via courier service. The usual delivery time is 2–5 business days after order confirmation, depending on product availability and delivery location. The exact delivery costs are calculated automatically upon completion of the order and depend on the weight and dimensions of the shipment.
When receiving the shipment, check the condition of the packaging. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note this on the receipt and contact us immediately.
Products can also be picked up in person at our store at 46 Rajko Zinzifov Street, Skopje, by prior arrangement.
6. Right of return and complaint
6.1 Right of withdrawal (withdrawal from contract)
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Law of the Republic of North Macedonia, you have the right to return the product within 15 days of receipt, without giving a reason, if: the product is unopened, unused and in its original packaging, the product is returned in the same condition in which it was received and the buyer bears the costs of returning the product.
To exercise your right to return, send a request to info@tintura.mk, stating your order number. After receiving and inspecting the returned product, we will refund your funds in the same way you paid, within 14 days.
6.2 Exceptions to the right of return
The right of return does not apply to: paints, primers and varnishes that have been opened upon receipt (due to hygiene and safety reasons, opened chemical products cannot be returned), products tinted to a specific shade/code (made to your individual order) and products whose packaging has been opened or damaged by the buyer.
6.3 Complaints about damaged or defective products
If the product is damaged during transport or has a factory defect, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund. Contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@tintura.mk, with attached photos of the damage/defect and the order number. After reviewing the complaint, we will offer you a replacement of the product or a full refund, including shipping costs.
7. Use of the products
Paints, primers and other chemical products should be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions stated on the label and/or technical data sheet of the product. Tintura is not responsible for results resulting from: improper preparation of the surface to be painted, failure to comply with the recommended application conditions (temperature, humidity, drying time), mixing products contrary to the manufacturer's recommendations or use of the product for a purpose for which it was not intended.

8. Intellectual property
All content on the website — including text, images, logos, graphic design and software — is protected by copyright. Crown Paints, Sandtex, Prodec and Prodec Advance are trademarks of Crown Paints Group, part of Hempel. Tintura is an authorized distributor of these products in the territory of North Macedonia.
Without prior written consent, copying, reproduction, distribution or commercial use of the contents of this website is prohibited.
9. Limitation of liability
Tintura will not be liable for: indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or products, temporary unavailability of the website due to maintenance, technical problems or external factors, differences in the display of colors on the screen versus the actual shade (due to technical limitations of monitors), and the accuracy of automatically generated translations of the website content.
Our maximum liability to the buyer is limited to the amount paid for the specific product.
10. Links to external sites
Our website contains links to external sites (Crown Paints, tone maps, social media, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy policies, or practices of those sites. Access to them is at your own risk.
11. Force majeure
Tintura is not liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, wars or civil unrest, strikes, interruptions in the supply of products by the supplier, and government restrictions or regulations.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. For all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions, before filing a lawsuit, both parties will endeavor to resolve the dispute amicably. If the amicable resolution fails, the courts in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia shall have jurisdiction.
